The Producer Price Index (PPI) by economic activity (ISIC classification) compared to the previous month measures changes in producer prices for industrial output. It shows how prices of goods and services sold by producers have changed relative to the previous month. This indicator is used to monitor production-side inflation and analyze price trends across different sectors such as mining, manufacturing, energy supply, and water utilities.
