In 2026-02, prices ranged from 355.43 cents/lb to 371.03 cents/lb with an average level of 366.42 cents/lb. The index price is based on the contract for difference of feeder cattle, tracking financially settled feeder cattle (or steers) futures traded on the CME; young cattle reached a weight of 700 to 899 pounds.
