The index reflects the change in the level of consumer prices, with the exception of goods and services influenced by seasonality, relative to the same period a year earlier (yoy). In Kyrgyzstan, the following groups of goods are excluded from core inflation: Fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, utilities, medical services, petroleum products, transport services, communication services, education.
