Platinum (Bank of Russia) represents the accounting price of platinum, calculated daily by the Bank of Russia based on the London spot market fixing, and serves as an indicator for the metallurgical industry with production leaders in South Africa and Russia, and the price heavily dependent on China's economy as the largest consumer. In December 2025, prices ranged from 4002.42 RUB/gram to 5568.13 RUB/gram with an average level of 4530.68 RUB/gram. The price is converted to rubles using the official US dollar exchange rate with the Friday fixing applicable over the weekend and Monday; data produced by the Bank of Russia.
