The index reflects the change in the level of consumer prices, with the exception of goods and services influenced by seasonality, to the previous month. The value of the previous month is the base and is equal to 100. In base inflation, Rosstat does not take into account some food products (fruits and vegetables and vodka), fuel (gasoline), transport services, communications and housing and communal services.
