The Wheat Index NAMEX serves as a key price indicator for the cost of a ton of wheat delivered on CPT Novorossiysk basis, calculated based on NAMEX trading sessions and approved by the Bank of Russia for agrosector monitoring in Russia as a benchmark for global grain supplies. In January 2026, the maximum reached 16057.00 RUB/T, the minimum — 15662.00 RUB/T, with an average level of 15890.67 RUB/T. The index reflects outcomes of NAMEX commodity auctions and is included in the Bank of Russia's Informational List of Commodity Indicators.
