In the United Kingdom, the Producer Price Index (PPI) is а measure of the change in the prices of goods sold as output by domestic producers on the domestic market. Taxes are usually excluded from price measurement in the PPIs in line with international guidelines. Core PPI covers all manufactured products except food, beverages, tobacco & petroleum products.
