Hub index "First price zone" (1 hour)

The hub index is a key element in the wholesale electricity market in Russia, which reflects the average market price of electricity in a certain geographical area. Prices vary depending on the hub index, which is calculated for each hour of the operating day based on the methodology approved by the Board of JSC ATS. The first price zone covers the European part of Russia and part of Western Siberia, including the Combined Energy Systems (UES) of the Center, Northwest, Urals, South and Middle Volga. The exceptions are the Arkhangelsk Region, the Komi Republic and the Kaliningrad Region, which are not included in the price zones due to their isolation.
