S&P GSCI

The S&P GSCI is a commodity index calculated based on prices of 24 futures from the world commodity market with weights by global production and trading volume, serving as a benchmark for commodity ETFs, with a high share of oil and gas components. In November 2025, the maximum was 567.19 index points, the minimum — 545.02 index points, the average level — 555.37 index points. The index composition includes agricultural commodities (wheat, corn, soybeans, coffee, sugar, cocoa, cotton, pork, livestock), oil and gas products (WTI, Brent, fuel oil, gasoline, gas oil, natural gas), non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, nickel, lead, zinc), and precious metals (gold, silver), used for comparing commodity asset returns.
