The oats futures contract represents a commodity instrument on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, used for managing price risks in the agro-industry, with the primary trading region in the USA, where it serves as a base asset for the feed crops market. In 2025-11, indicators ranged from 291.75 cents/bushel to 311.50 cents/bushel with an average level of 302.83 cents/bushel. The price is based on continuous physically settled futures of No. 1 oats and heavy No. 2 oats, delivery is performed in a warehouse designated by the CME, where 1 bushel of oats equals 17.23 kg.
