The yellow corn futures contract represents a commodity instrument on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, used for hedging and trading in the agricultural sector, with the primary trading region in the USA, where it serves as a price benchmark for the global corn market. In 2025-11, indicators ranged from 423.50 cents/bushel to 441.50 cents/bushel with an average level of 431.05 cents/bushel. The price is based on continuous physically settled futures of No. 2 yellow corn with a maximum 15% moisture, delivery is performed in a warehouse designated by the CME, where 1 bushel of corn equals 25.40 kg.
