The soft red winter wheat futures contract represents a commodity instrument on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, used for risk management in the grain sector, with the primary trading region in the USA, where it serves as a base asset for the wheat market. In 2026-01, indicators ranged from 506.50 cents/bushel to 541.48 cents/bushel with an average level of 519.51 cents/bushel. The price is based on continuous physically settled futures of soft red winter (SRW) wheat, delivery is performed in any city designated by the CME, where 1 bushel of wheat equals 27.216 kg.
