The China (Export) Containerized Freight Index (CCFI) tracks freight rates and volumes on 12 routes from 10 Chinese ports, such as Dalian, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, serving as an influential indicator for the global container market, sponsored by China's Ministry of Transport. In November 2025, the maximum was 1122.79 points, the minimum — 1058.17 points, the average level — 1096.70 points. The index is published weekly by the Shanghai Shipping Exchange with a base period of January 1, 1998, at 1000 points and formulated by a committee of 23 shipping companies.
